Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes! and… Latest Happenings

Hello all! I’ve been rather quiet on the “blogging front” for a while now, and just thought I’d check in, and update the latest happenings.

It’s been a very busy time of late, with many changes. The biggest change is that I have made the transition out of the 3/4 Multi-Age classroom and into the computer lab, as Technology Integrator. This is a bitter/sweet change: exciting and challenging, but not without some sorrow, as I leave my class behind in Room 208.

I will be replacing my good friend, Cheryl Oakes, as she moves on to her new exciting position as District Technology Coordinator.

I am excited about taking that next step in integrating technology into the classroom, and expanding my learning. There is, of course, tons to learn and my mind is spinning with all the possiblities!

The summer has been mostly filled with Technology courses as I continue towards getting my Technology Endorsement and has left little time for Podcasting. Hopefully that will change soon!

In the meantime, please check out the article over at Apple’s Education Site, featuring the work from the Students of Room 208!
